1) Lantern
2) Moon cake! (sad faced)
We sure were not in short supply in the moon department. In fact the moon was so round and bright it’s like daytime (while wearing a very good/dark pair of shades).
I was surfing the enter net and seen washagami lake and had not thought of it for years. I starting fishing washagami as young boy in 1950 with my dad and mother and my uncle and aunt and cousin. I am now 84 years young and still fish the creeks of ohio . we stayed at the landing point lodge and cabins which consist of lodge and five cabins which was owned by a mister craig and was located not far from your lodge and we fished there for about twenty years and had many great fishing times. The biggest fish we caught was a 54 pound lake trout, yes there are lake trout in washagami’ there is deep spot in washagami right across from your lodge half way from the other side of lake. We weren’t fishing for lake trout and just cut across to other side of the lake and did not real in our lines as we cut across the lake and hook him by accident. what a time we had getting him in the boat and had to go to shore to get him on land. just thought I would tell you of our great time fishing washagami and other lakes around which consist of murray bass lake pike lake those were portage lakes. I thought you would like to here fishing tale about washagami lake. A old fishing buddy.
